Norah Marie-11 Months

Time is closing in as we are on the downhill slide to your one year old birthday. I so just want to soak up these moments before you hit that milestone. I am seriously sitting here tearing up thinking how fast these past 11 months have gone. It seems like an eternity and a split second all at once. (If that makes any sense). As sad as it is to see you grow up so fast, we are TOTALLY enjoying  each new stage with you. You are totally walking non-stop, talking and understanding what we are telling you, and girlfriend you LOVE to dance. (Must get that from your momma!)

This month you had a very high fever and Mommy got to take her first family sick day to spend it with you. You were such a snuggle bug (this hardly ever happens!)

You also got to go to your first "Christmas" celebration with Grandma Peggy's family. There you got to meet Santa. You did NOT like him at all!

New things you are doing this month
*Understanding "Bring it to Daddy or Mommy"
* Dancing
*Saying "Bottle, Mommy, Daddy, Hello, and Ho Ho Ho"
*Building with blocks and knocking them down

Things you love
*Attention
*Dancing
*Your cousins
*Your Grandpa!
*Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
*Life in general: Waking up from sleep
*The toothbrush
*Your dog & cats

November 1st we went to visit the Grandmas in your Halloween outfit! (With Gma Oeser)
With Grandma Nyla

Norah- 10 Months

This weekend we spent the Halloween weekend in Davenport with The Havercamp family. Baby girl-I got to see a TOTALLY different side of you! You were SO happy. Typically I get the whiny, tired girl coming home from daycare. But you were in your element being around other kiddos! You started walking more and more after the weekend too.

Some things that you are doing new this month:
*talking on the telephone
*patty cake/if youre happy and you know it
*blowing kisses
*WALKING
*consistently saying "Momma, dadda, and Bottle"
*signing "more"
*dancing

"Firsts" this month:
*Going to a Bearcats football game
*Your first Halloween
*First combine ride with daddy
*First stomach flu

You still are a daddy's girl through and through. Especially since our time with him has been limited with harvest lately. You LOVE your pooch Rye. And, right now you'd rather not play with toys but get attention and play with people (or water bottles). You prefer to stick the WHOLE paci in your mouth. Its actually kind of ridiculous!

I listened to Sister Hesed speak at our small group gathering a few weeks ago (Actually the night that you puked all over your dad :)). Some words that spoke to me about you were that I need to "offer you up on an altar to God everyday". Which is so true. God has entrusted us to be your parents. We need to trust in his will for you. We need to promise Him we will do our best in raising you and leading you to Him. You are HIS child and He will take/use you as He needs you.  We have been given the best gift in the world to raise you and be your parents. You are precious.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

"Mom. come on. I am BUSY HERE"

About 1 hour before you puked everywhere!

Quality time with grandpa Dan. Lookin at the cats!

Norah Marie-9 Months

You turned 9 months on October 1st! Lots of fun things are happening in your development these days and you are just growing up too fast for us. You and mommy have begun lots of one on on time with daddy in the field and helping grandpa with harvest.

At your 9 month appt you were in the 50th ish percentile for weight and 34 percentile for height! You are just a little peanut!

Here are some fun new things you are doing this month!
Patty Cake
"So Big"
Taking a couple of steps!

You LOVE your daddy. Seriously. Its kind of obnoxious. You whine with mommy until daddy walks in the door. Then your happy as can be!

September was super busy with weddings and you spending lots of time with grandmas and babysitters. Our family is so so so lucky/blessed to have grandmas and grandpas who want to see you and are willing to watch you when we need them! Looking forward to some free weekends and getting to spend time  with you!

A visit with your friend Landon Petersen

Still love tubby time!
