Norah- 10 Months

This weekend we spent the Halloween weekend in Davenport with The Havercamp family. Baby girl-I got to see a TOTALLY different side of you! You were SO happy. Typically I get the whiny, tired girl coming home from daycare. But you were in your element being around other kiddos! You started walking more and more after the weekend too.

Some things that you are doing new this month:
*talking on the telephone
*patty cake/if youre happy and you know it
*blowing kisses
*WALKING
*consistently saying "Momma, dadda, and Bottle"
*signing "more"
*dancing

"Firsts" this month:
*Going to a Bearcats football game
*Your first Halloween
*First combine ride with daddy
*First stomach flu

You still are a daddy's girl through and through. Especially since our time with him has been limited with harvest lately. You LOVE your pooch Rye. And, right now you'd rather not play with toys but get attention and play with people (or water bottles). You prefer to stick the WHOLE paci in your mouth. Its actually kind of ridiculous!

I listened to Sister Hesed speak at our small group gathering a few weeks ago (Actually the night that you puked all over your dad :)). Some words that spoke to me about you were that I need to "offer you up on an altar to God everyday". Which is so true. God has entrusted us to be your parents. We need to trust in his will for you. We need to promise Him we will do our best in raising you and leading you to Him. You are HIS child and He will take/use you as He needs you.  We have been given the best gift in the world to raise you and be your parents. You are precious.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

"Mom. come on. I am BUSY HERE"

About 1 hour before you puked everywhere!

Quality time with grandpa Dan. Lookin at the cats!
